City Tour

CagsawaYou have only one morning or one afternoon in Bicol and you want to get the best from the province. Then this tour is designed for you. On board of the van, you will discover all the richness of the province. The tour will bring you to the Cagsawa Ruins, Lignon hill, Daraga Church, Embarcadero and Handicraft market. Buried in 1814’s by Mount Mayon violent eruption, Cagsawa Ruins is a standing witness of the tragic history of our region. Next door, the Daraga church which is constructed completely from volcanic rocks is splendidly overlooking the Mount Mayon.

Lignon Hill with Japanese tunnel is a lively reminder of the Albay participation in history during the WWII period. Atop from this hill you will also have a sweeping vista of Mayon to the west and the vast Pacific Ocean to the east, a view that can easily rival Pao de Azucar’s view of Rio de Janeiro! Visting Embarcadero and Seawall, and the Handicraft Market will give you a great opportunity for shopping and discovering native Abaca work. Dont miss your chance of buying a nice abaca bag and some pilinut candies, Albay’s local delicacy!
